Natural Shoreline

1. A natural shoreline protects the vegetation and the vegetation enhances the beach as in this view.

2. This shoreline is protected from excessive wave action and is only 100 ft from the eroded beach.

3. The eroded beach will eventually wash through to this beach if action is not taken to prevent erosion.

An Eroded Shoreline is a detriment to the Creek water quality and navigability. Wildlife cannot breed in areas that are constantly awash with sediment and unstable bottom.
